About the role

Lucid Detailing is a US-based steel detailing company with 11 years of experience serving fabricators and general contractors across the United States. We're seeking a Steel Detailer to join our remote team based in India on a full-time basis. In this role, you'll own the complete detailing lifecycle for miscellaneous and structural steel projects—from modeling through drawing production. You'll work under senior checker oversight, following established procedures where quality and process are paramount. The position offers a competitive compensation package of ₹10–15 LPA.

What you'll do

• Model and detail miscellaneous and structural steel projects according to US specifications
• Own projects end-to-end: build the model, produce shop drawings, fabrication packages, and erection drawings
• Prioritize model accuracy to ensure clean, error-free output
• Follow all established procedures, checklists, and clash detection protocols without exception
• Reference project drawings and maintain consistency with design intent
• Collaborate with senior checkers to ensure quality standards are met

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in structural or miscellaneous steel detailing
• Proficiency with steel detailing software and CAD tools
• Strong understanding of US steel detailing standards and fabrication practices
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures rigorously
• Attention to detail with a focus on model accuracy and drawing quality
• Reliable, self-directed work ethic suited to remote collaboration
