- The 10 best Deel competitors are Wisemonk, Remote, Oyster, G-P, Multiplier, Rippling, Papaya Global, Pebl, Playroll and Payoneer Workforce Management.
- Deel publishes $599 per EOR employee a month. Eight of the ten alternatives publish a rate too, running from our $99 India-only rate up to $699, so the headline fee alone tells you very little about fit.
- The $400 figure attached to Multiplier is its Contractor of Record rate, not its EOR rate. Its published EOR pricing is $459 Core and $519 Growth billed annually, as of September 2026.
- Papaya Global publishes EOR from $499, and Pebl publishes no rate at all. Coverage is the real divider: most of these run 90 to 185 countries, and we are India-only.

Shopping for Deel competitors and want to know what they actually charge before a sales call? Ten alternatives are worth your time, and they solve very different problems.
Deel is a global employment platform covering Employer of Record (EOR) services, global payroll, contractor payments and an HR suite. It runs entities and payroll in 130+ countries, and its own headline claim is 150+.
If you are the founder or finance lead signing off headcount across several countries, you need a provider that can legally employ people where you hire, at a cost you can model. Here is what each of the ten does, what it charges, how far it reaches, and what switching off Deel involves.
Which are the 10 best Deel alternatives?
The 10 best Deel competitors are Wisemonk, Remote, Oyster, G-P, Multiplier, Rippling, Papaya Global, Pebl, Playroll and Payoneer Workforce Management.
Two things plainly. The first entry is us, and we are an India specialist, which rules us out for most people reading a global vendor list. CoR below means Contractor of Record.
| Provider | What it is | Entities | CoR | Payroll | Countries | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deel (the benchmark) | Global EOR, payroll and HR suite | Not published | $325 per contractor/month | Not published | 130+ for entities and payroll, 150+ headline claim | The incumbent you are comparing against |
| Wisemonk | India EOR and payroll specialist | Our own India entities | 6% per contractor payment | Managed payroll, custom quote | India, all states | India-concentrated hiring |
| Remote | Global EOR and payroll platform | Owned entities, no local partners | From $325 per contractor/month | Payroll at $29 | 90+ | Owned-entity compliance |
| Oyster | Global EOR and contractor platform | Not published | Not published | Not published | 120+ for EOR, 180+ for contractors | Remote-first teams |
| G-P (Globalization Partners) | Global EOR and contractor platform | Not published | Not published | Not published | 180+ for EOR, 190+ for contractors | Regulated industries |

| Pebl (formerly Velocity Global) | Global EOR with immigration support | Not published | Not published | Not published | 185+ | Immigration and acquisition hiring |
| Playroll | Global EOR and payroll services | Not published | Not published | Payroll services from $10 | 180+ | Broad coverage at a published price |
| Payoneer Workforce Management (formerly Skuad) | Global EOR under Payoneer | Own and partner entities | Agent of Record at $99 per contractor/month | Not published | 160+ | The lowest published global rate |
That shortlist has moved more than usual this year.
What changed among Deel competitors this year?
Four things have changed recently: one acquisition, two rebrands, and a new rate card.
- Deel bought one of its own alternatives: Omnipresent was acquired in October 2025, so it is no longer independent of Deel.
- Velocity Global is now Pebl: The legal entity is still Velocity Global, LLC, so your contract name does not change, but the product and the website do.
- Skuad is now Payoneer Workforce Management: It no longer operates as an independent provider under that name.
- Papaya Global: EOR starts at $499 per employee per month, as of September 2026.
So why do teams start looking?
Why do companies switch from Deel?
Deel is the most complete platform on this list, and most teams leaving it are not unhappy with the product. They have hit one of four things.
- Price at scale: at $599, ten employees costs $71,880 a year. Payoneer Workforce Management and Playroll do the same job at $199 and $399.
- Paying for surface you do not use: the HR, IT and expense modules are priced into a platform a ten-person team will barely touch.
- Partner entities in the markets that matter: Deel runs entities in 130+ countries and claims 150+. Ask which of the two your countries sit in.
- One market carrying the headcount: when most hiring sits in one country, a specialist there usually costs less and knows more.
Here are the ten, one at a time, starting with the India specialist.
1. Wisemonk: for hiring in India
We are an India specialist, and you should know that before you reach the price. If India is where your team sits, a specialist beats a generalist. If you need 40 countries, it does not.
Pricing: EOR from $99 per employee per month, with no setup fees and no minimums, as of September 2026.
Limitation: One country. Hiring across several markets means running a global platform alongside us, or instead of us.

2. Remote: for owned-entity compliance
Remote owns every entity it operates through, employing people directly in 90+ countries rather than through local partners. That keeps the compliance chain short.
Pricing: $699 per employee per month, as of September 2026.
Limitation: Joint highest rate here, and the narrowest footprint among the large global platforms.
Weighing these two directly? Our Deel vs Remote comparison runs the head-to-head, and we also cover Remote.com alternatives.
3. Oyster: for remote-first teams
Oyster covers 120+ countries for employment and 180+ for contractors. Those numbers are not interchangeable, and Oyster is one of the few providers that states them separately.
Pricing: $699 per employee per month, as of September 2026.
Limitation: Joint highest EOR rate here, and its EOR footprint is smaller than its contractor footprint.
For the deeper cut, read our Deel vs Oyster HR breakdown or the wider Oyster HR alternatives list.
4. G-P: for regulated industries
G-P, formerly Globalization Partners, runs EOR in 180+ countries and contractor coverage in 190+. In regulated sectors, its legal bench is the product.
Pricing: $599 per employee per month, matching Deel's headline rate, as of September 2026.
Limitation: Priced at the top of the market with no discount tier, and weighted toward larger buyers.
We cover the full field in our Globalization Partners alternatives guide.
5. Multiplier: for Asia-Pacific hiring
Multiplier covers 160+ countries for EOR and is a common pick for Asia-Pacific hiring. It prices EOR in two tiers, and prices Contractor of Record separately.
Pricing: EOR at $459 Core and $519 Growth per employee per month billed annually, or $499 and $559 billed monthly, as of September 2026.
Worth knowing: the $400 widely quoted for Multiplier is its Contractor of Record rate, not its EOR rate.
Limitation: The lowest rates need annual billing, and its payroll bundles quote 150+ countries against the 160+ its EOR pages state.
See the head-to-head in our Deel vs Multiplier comparison, or the wider Multiplier competitors list.
6. Rippling: for HR and IT consolidation
Rippling is a workforce platform first and an EOR second. HR, IT and finance sit in one system, so a new hire gets a laptop, app access and a payslip from one workflow.
Pricing: Custom quote. Rippling asks what services you need and sends a quote.
Limitation: No EOR rate and no consolidated EOR country count, so ask which markets your quote covers before you compare it.
Our Deel vs Rippling comparison covers the platform question, and we list the wider field in Rippling alternatives.
7. Papaya Global: for enterprise payroll reporting
Papaya Global is built around payroll data and reporting for larger finance teams, across 180+ countries. It suits companies consolidating payroll more than chasing the lowest employment fee.
Pricing: EOR from $499 per employee per month, as of September 2026.
Limitation: EOR sits alongside the payroll platform rather than being the headline product, and at $499 it prices above the mid-range options here.
Read our Deel vs Papaya Global comparison or the wider Papaya Global alternatives list.
8. Pebl: for immigration and acquisition hiring
Pebl, which traded as Velocity Global until 2025, reaches 185+ countries. Its strength is visa work and headcount arriving through an acquisition.
Pricing: Custom quote. Pebl names no EOR rate, so budget from a written quote.
Limitation: No rate card, and a recent rebrand means contracts, invoices and review sites still carry both names.
See our Velocity Global (Pebl) vs Deel comparison and the broader Velocity Global alternatives list.
9. Playroll: for wide coverage at a mid-range rate
Playroll covers 180+ countries on a flat rate, and charges no onboarding or offboarding fee and no minimum. That combination is uncommon.
Pricing: $399 per employee per month, with no minimum, as of September 2026.
Limitation: Onboarding runs 2 to 5 days on its own estimate, slower than a specialist working in a single market.
If none of these fit the employment model you need, our EOR alternatives guide covers the routes that are not an EOR at all.
10. Payoneer Workforce Management: the lowest global rate
Payoneer Workforce Management, formerly Skuad, is now owned by Payoneer. It carries the lowest EOR rate among the global platforms here, across 160+ countries.
Pricing: $199 per employee per month, as of September 2026.
Limitation: Coverage runs through partner entities as well as owned ones, so ask which entities are owned in your markets.

Price is where a shortlist stops being a list.
How much do Deel competitors actually charge?
Deel charges $599 per EOR employee a month. Among the global platforms the spread runs from $199 at Payoneer Workforce Management to $699 at Remote and Oyster. Our India rate is $99.
| Provider | EOR / month | Contractors | CoR | Payroll | Setup and minimums |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deel (the benchmark) | $599 | $49 per contractor/month | $325 per contractor/month | Not published | Not published |
| Wisemonk (India) | From $99 | Not published | 6% per contractor payment | Custom quote | No setup fees and no minimums |
| Remote | $699 | $29 per contractor/month | From $325 per contractor/month | $29 | Not published |
| Oyster | USD 699 | USD 29 per contractor/month after 30 days free | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| G-P (Globalization Partners) | USD 599 | USD 39 per contractor/month | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Multiplier | $459 Core and $519 Growth billed annually, $499 and $559 billed monthly | $40 per contractor/month | $400 per contractor/month | From $20 | Not published |
| Rippling | Custom quote | Not published | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Papaya Global | From $499 | From $5 per contractor/month | From $199 per contractor/month | Payroll Plus from $29 | Not published |
| Pebl (formerly Velocity Global) | Custom quote | Not published | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Playroll | $399 | $35 flat | Not published | From $10 | No minimum, no onboarding or offboarding fee |
| Payoneer Workforce Management (formerly Skuad) | $199 | $19 per contractor/month | Agent of Record at $99 per contractor/month | Not published | Not published |
Deel's other products price separately: $49 per contractor, $325 for Contractor of Record, $125 for US PEO and $14 for recruiting.
The number nobody prints is the full invoice. Deposits, currency spreads and benefits markups sit outside the headline fee at most providers here, so ask for each as a line item.
If you already own an entity, an EOR is the wrong product entirely. Compare the routes with our EOR versus own entity calculator.
So which one of them belongs on your contract?
Which Deel alternative fits your situation?
Route by situation, not by vendor. Find your case below, then price it against the cost table above.
- India-concentrated headcount: Wisemonk, from $99, with one country handled by specialists rather than as an exception.
- 20 or more countries on owned entities: Remote at $699 or G-P at $599.
- HR, IT and finance in one system: Rippling, where employment is one module in a wider platform.
- The lowest global rate: Payoneer Workforce Management at $199 per employee per month.
- Wide coverage at a rate you can model: Playroll at $399 across 180+, or Multiplier at $459 across 160+.
- Visa-heavy or acquisition hiring: Pebl, for immigration support across 185+ countries.
- Enterprise payroll reporting: Papaya Global, from $499 across 180+ countries.
- Paying contractors, not employing anyone: Payoneer at $19, Remote at $29 or Deel at $49. An EOR is overkill when nobody needs employing locally.
Still narrowing it down? Our buyer's guide to choosing an EOR covers the checks that separate a shortlist from a decision.
Picking the replacement is the easy half of the job.
How do you switch from Deel to another provider?
Most companies take 6 to 12 weeks, country by country rather than as one cutover. Each employee is legally offboarded from Deel and rehired by the new provider, because the EOR is the employer on record.
| Weeks | Step | What it protects |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 2 | Export contracts, payslips and tax filings before you give notice | Access disappears at termination, and notice periods bind you |
| 3 to 4 | Run one parallel payroll cycle with the new provider | Catches benefit and tax errors before anyone is moved |
| 5 to 8 | Migrate country by country, simple jurisdictions first | Never cutting over mid payroll cycle keeps people paid |
| 9 to 12 | Reconcile final invoices, confirm statutory filings, chase deposits | Deposits are rarely refunded unless you ask for them |
One India-specific point. Provident fund balances follow the employee, but gratuity service periods reset with the new legal employer unless your transfer terms say otherwise. Our guide to payroll in India covers what carries across.

And if India is the market driving this decision, there is a shorter route.

Frequently asked questions
Are there cheaper alternatives to Deel?
Yes. Deel publishes $599 per EOR employee a month, and several Deel competitors publish less: Payoneer Workforce Management at $199, Playroll at $399, Multiplier at $459 and Papaya Global at $499. For India-only hiring, we charge from $99 per employee per month.
What is the best Deel alternative for a small business?
It depends on where you hire. For one or two countries, a published-rate provider like Playroll or Payoneer Workforce Management keeps costs predictable. For India-concentrated teams, a specialist is cheaper and deeper. Avoid quote-only platforms until your headcount justifies the sales cycle.
Which Deel alternative has the best compliance?
Remote and G-P lead here, because both employ people through entities they own rather than third-party partners. That shortens the compliance chain and makes liability clearer. Ask any provider for a written, country-by-country split of owned entities versus partners before signing.
Is Deel or Rippling better for global hiring?
Rippling wins if you want HR, IT and finance in one system, since employment is a module inside a larger platform. Deel wins on published pricing and stated breadth, with entities and payroll in 130+ countries. Rippling publishes neither an EOR rate nor a consolidated country count.
Is Deel or Remote better for an Employer of Record?
Remote owns every entity it operates through across 90+ countries, which suits teams prioritizing compliance and IP. Deel covers 130+ countries at $599 against Remote at $699. Choose Remote for owned-entity depth, and Deel for reach at a lower published rate.
Can these platforms help with visas and immigration?
Pebl, formerly Velocity Global, is the strongest option here and reaches 185+ countries with dedicated immigration and acquisition support. G-P also carries deep legal resources for complex jurisdictions. Most other Deel competitors treat immigration as an add-on rather than a core product.
Which Deel competitor is best for hiring in India?
We are India-only, so for India-concentrated hiring we go deeper than any generalist: withholding tax, provident fund, state insurance and gratuity are routine work. EOR starts at $99 per employee per month. If you need 40 countries, a global platform serves you better.
